Dealer Comments

It?s a 249 cc 2-stroke motocross machine designed for competition, from Husqvarna?s MX line. Comes with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and electric start ? big advantages for 2-stroke MX bikes. Revised chassis for 2025: new frame sections, updated suspension settings, improved ergonomics and weight savings. Premium components: WP XACT suspension, high-spec wheels/tyres (Dunlop Geomax), lightweight hubs and rims, etc. Engine & Performance Engine: 2-stroke, single cylinder, 249 cc displacement (bore 66.4 mm) as listed. Weight of engine stated at ~23.9 kg (52.6 lb) giving a benchmark in class for lightness. EFI system: 39 mm throttle body, two engine maps selectable via handlebar switch (Map 1 linear, Map 2 more aggressive). Electric start with a lithium-ion battery (positioned centrally) ? removes the need for a kick start. Other engine features: a laterally-mounted counter balancer shaft to reduce vibration. Chassis, Suspension & Ergonomics Frame: Central double-cradle steel (25CrMo4) for main frame, with revised wall thickness and less material around shock mount / steering head to reduce weight (~300 g saved). Subframe: Two-piece design, lower cast aluminium + upper injection-moulded polyamide for controlled flex and lightweight. Suspension: Front: WP XACT USD forks, 48 mm diameter, redesigned for 2025. Rear: WP XACT monoshock, linkage, 293 mm travel (rear) in one spec. Wheels / Tyres: CNC-machined hubs, lightweight spokes, black anodised alloy rims (by DID / EXCEL depending region), new Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres for 2025. Ergonomics / Bodywork: Revised bodywork with larger contact points in the rider triangle for better movement and less fatigue. Seat height ~945?946 mm (37.2") in one spec. Weight: The listing shows ~99.6 kg (?220 lbs) without fuel in one spec.
